Pakistan in Cricket World Cup
Winner of the fifth ICC Cricket World Cup, Pakistan has been playing as one of the contenders of the tournament since the inaugural event (which was held in the year 1975).
Though the team made it to the final match once again, in 1999 ODI World Cup, it failed to win the trophy, after facing defeat at the hands of Australia. Apart from that, it has proceeded to the semi-final stage a number of times.
